Refund Policy

North Taranaki Home Educators

At North Taranaki Home Educators, we strive to provide excellent services and experiences for our community. We understand that there may be circumstances where a refund is requested. Please carefully read our refund policy to understand the conditions under which refunds are granted.

1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may only be considered in the following situations:

  • Program Cancellations: If an event or program is cancelled by North Taranaki Home Educators, a refund will be issued.

  • Exceptional Circumstances: In cases of medical emergency, unforeseen personal hardship, or other situations deemed exceptional by our team, a refund may be considered.

2. Conditions for Refund

Refunds will only be granted if the circumstances meet the criteria outlined above, and the refund does not place North Taranaki Home Educators in a financially responsible position. This means that if a refund would result in undue financial strain on the organization or impact the delivery of services to other participants, it may not be approved.

3. Refund Process

To request a refund, please contact us at nthetreasurer@gmail.com with the following information:

  • Name of the participant

  • Date of the event or program

  • Reason for refund request

We will review the request and respond within 7 business days.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

The following situations are not eligible for a refund:

  • If the participant simply changes their mind or no longer wishes to attend.

  • If the participant fails to attend the event or program for personal reasons.

  • If the program or event proceeds as planned, and no cancellation or emergency arises.
